What is the structure of documents in iDelfi Documentation Manager?
iDelfi Documentation Manager uses a model of documentation structure which assumes that individual documents are related to each other and that they fulfil the following functions:
Manual - the main document of the whole structure; it specifies the system which has been described by means of a given set of documents.
Procedure instructions - documents describing complex actions requiring the involvement of a group of employees or several departments cooperating with each other.
Work instructions - documents defining procedures related to a specific action, e.g. in a given job or by one employee.
Control Card - documents used for recording and storing data.
Appendices - documents containing additional information, enhancing the content included in the documents which they refer to. The program makes it possible to replace an attachment with any file.

The numeration of documents in iDelfi Documentation Manager is based on an alpha-numeric system, defined on the basis of a virtual department to which a given document has been assigned. The document numbering process is fully automatic.

Can I add my own system of numbering individual documents in iDelfi Documentation Manager?
Yes, iDelfi can at the client's request introduce a system of document numbering other than the suggested one. However the principle of document hierarchy must be preserved.

Can I introduce my own headers and footers in documents generated by the program in iDelfi Documentation Manager?
Yes, iDelfi can introduce any headers and footers at the client's request.

Does the program in iDelfi Documentation Manager keep an automatic history of all documents?
Yes, the program maintains a detailed record of introduced changes. Each change is automatically recorded, and the program makes it possible to introduce an annotation specifying the reasons for the change introduced. Additionally, it is possible to review all archived versions.

Does the program in iDelfi Documentation Manager permit translation of documents?
The program allows for the translation of an existing document. However, it follows at the same time the principle that a change of one language version should result in the revision of other versions. It also helps to ensure that a change in one language version should not change the substantive content of other language versions.

How are documents presented and displayed in iDelfi Documentation Manager?
Documents are presented and displayed in various ways. The first and basic method of displaying documents is a graphic presentation of their structure (a document tree). A document tree presents a logical structure and a hierarchy of individual documents. Another possibility for presenting documents is an edit window where an authorised person can introduce the appropriate changes.
Program users, depending on their access rights, can view documents as HTML files, which can contain individual links to other documents. This ensures easy navigation and provides a paperless documentation solution.
For those users who require a printable version or want to print, for instance, control charts, the program also offers the possibility to print out documents in PDF format.
